Just in time for the 2010 spring golf season, Maple Dale Country Club has hired Mark Eckels as Head Golf Professional. A certified PGA professional with more than 20 years of experience as a head golf professional, Mark comes to Maple Dale from the Lancaster, PA area.

Mark is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, and has taken numerous courses at the PGA Business School.He is one of only 300 certified PGA professionals in the country. After nearly twenty years as Head PGA Professional at Bon Air Country Club in York, PA, Mr. Eckels and his family spent four years at the Quindao MTI International School in Qingdao, China, where he served as athletic director for the largest international school in the city.

"Mark is a tremendous addition to our staff here at Maple Dale," said Chris Aulita, General Manager for Maple Dale Country Club. "Not only has Mark coordinated major golf tournaments and a variety of teaching clinics, he has vast experience building and managing golf pro shops. We know Mark will do a great job with us here at Maple Dale and will be a terrific head pro for our members."

Mark was named Head Golf Professional at Maple Dale Country Club in 2010.
